Estampro named 2008 AMETVS supplier of the year
The 8th annual Specialty Vehicles and Transportation Equipment Manufacturers' Association (AMETVS) convention has proclaimed Estampro of Saint-Évariste its 2008 supplier of the year. Under the theme "Succeeding beyond our borders", this event was held at Drummondville's Le Dauphin Hotel & Suites this past November.
Estampro, a family business founded in 1982, was selected as this year's supplier of the year in recognition of its fine products, prices, delivery times, and service. The company specializes in the drawing, stamping, and fabrication of metal products. Most of its operations center on the transportation industry. Estampro works closely within the standards of Volvo, Paccar, Freightliner, and International. It employs some fifty people.
The Specialty Vehicles and Transportation Manufacturers' Association is a group of over 345 Quebec transportation equipment industry companies. Its activities are geared to the industry's major divisions: cars and trucks, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, and public transit vehicles. The association acts as a catalyst between major industrial manufacturers and their suppliers.
